Our Passion
We are passionate about being able to educate, encourage and enabling our customers towards a healthy eating lifestyle. We count it our blessing and our privilege when a customer is encouraged to find out more about healthy eating or embark on a lifestyle change towards healthy eating because of what they learned or experienced after dining with us.
Our Food Philosophy
We are always delighted when our customers choose Healthy Balanced Meals with more Whole Grains & Vegetables.
Hence we constantly create new tasty hearty dishes for our Make Your Own Bento menu to encourage our customers to Eat Happy, Choose Healthy -
1. Eliminating all added sugar
2. Replacing simple carbs with whole grains or vegetables
3. Choose healthier protein options.
4. Balanced proportion of macro-nutrients (see My Healthy Bento / My Healthy Eating Plate below)
What we do
We constantly strive to create new hearty Whole Grains, Vegetables & Healthy Protein dishes
so that our customers can practise choosing a healthy balanced meal and also experience that Eating Healthy can be Hearty and Tasty too.
We are passionate about using The Bento Box, with equal sized compartments, as a tool
to educate and enable our customers to practise choosing healthy balanced proportions of whole grains/vegetables/proteins
- half of which with vegetables/fruits, a quarter with whole grains and a quarter with good proteins.
We are especially passionate about encouraging customers to use Quinoa as a healthier staple to replace the usual staple of refined simple carbohydrates such as white rice, white bread and other products made from refined processed grains.
We create tasty, healthy and balanced Quinoa dishes - eg. our bestselling Quinoa 'Fried Rice' Yangzhou style, Quinoa Beef Bowls to introduce Quinoa to our customers and encourage to use that as a staple at home.
